This week I wanted to write about being a remarkable teacher in a way that I think it is not the common one. When I am saying "remarkable" I'm thinking about those teachers that had been a really good influence in my life and even a support when needed. I felt really inspired by this video of Adele talking about her favorite teacher from school:

And I, fortunately, can relate with Adele 100%.

For example, every time my friends and I meet we talk a lot about some of our teachers but specially about our philosophy teacher and our greek and latin teacher. We have really good memories with them because they were not only teachers but sometimes counselors about our teenager dramas. I also remember a few English teachers that I had during my school and high school years but specially one English teacher that I had at university. When I realized that I wanted to become an English teacher, I also realized that I wanted to be like them in some ways. That English teacher from the uni was awesome because he really liked his job, he has truly vocation to the course and what he was teaching (even though it was syntax and the majority of the class didn't like it at all and even less during the pandemic). But he never surrendered. He repeated every single explanation and even our silliest questions were answered properly!

Moreover, I found really inspiring the experience of one of my best friends named Vera (@unhaprimavera). She is also doing a Formación de Profesorado master but for being a French teacher and she already started the practice period! She realized during this period that she really liked being a teacher and her tutor seems to be very nice! Thanks to her experience I can't wait to start my practices and see how it will go!

I truly believe that everyone can be a remarkable teacher by just being nice with their students!
